Species totals are uneven. HS3's publisher says 37 and one review says 35. HS2's store says 33. WOTH2 and Call of the Wild name animals without a single total I am willing to treat as official, so those cells stay qualitative on the child pages. Metacritic's 65 for Way of the Hunter is the 2022 game, not Way of the Hunter 2. I will not paste it into the WOTH2 column.

Which hunting game should I buy in 2026?
If you want co-op today, Way of the Hunter 2 or Call of the Wild already have it. If you want Nacon's new solo reserves and licensed gear, Hunting Simulator 3 is the new one. Prices differ: HS3 and WOTH2 list at $39.99, the older two list at $19.99.
