Hunting Simulator 3 guides
These guides answer what the stores only sketch: which animals are named, how the two reserves differ, which brands Nacon licensed, and what the 26 achievements actually ask. They are written from public posts, not from a cleared save file.

Start here
- Animals — 19 Colorado names and 18 Texas names, with wiki-only rows marked.
- Maps — Colorado's seven biomes and Texas's three ecological zones, from Nacon's own posts.
- Weapons — Browning, Winchester, Verney-Carron and Bear Archery counts from the news series.
- Beginner path — what the launch posts and one wiki agree on, and what I will not copy.
- Achievements — 26 Steam names, global rates from 30 October 2026, Xbox renames where they differ.
SimFauna is the system the launch post describes: animals age, breed, and carry genetics that affect trophies. Predators hunt, and the same post says they can threaten the player. I can describe that loop. I cannot tell you a spawn rate. The dog breeds named in official material are the American Foxhound and a coonhound; the yellow Labrador shows up as a MyNacon reward and in AltChar's review, so I cite it as those two sources rather than as a third wild breed.
Nacon's gameplay overview video is the best single moving picture of the loop if you would rather watch than read. It is linked below the sources. Multiplayer is not a guide topic yet, because the mode is not in the game; use the multiplayer page.
Questions
Is there a skill tree?
Nacon's FAQ says there is no skill tree. Progression they describe is gear, the field journal, and the animal records.
Where do I learn the maps?
The maps guide. Colorado and Texas are separate sections on one page, not two thin URLs.
