Is Hunting Simulator 3 multiplayer?

No. Hunting Simulator 3 is not multiplayer on the day it shipped. Steam's category list says Single-player. The 2027 plan on Nacon's roadmap is a different sentence: four people, later, and the first of those updates does not include crossplay.

Right now

The Steam categories I read include Single-player, achievements, controller support and cloud saves. They do not include Multiplayer, Co-op, or Split Screen. Xbox and PlayStation feature lists in the research pass also omit a multiplayer flag. A player tag that says Multiplayer on a store community cloud is not the same thing as an official category, and I do not treat it as one.

The 2027 sentence

On 28 October 2026 Nacon posted a roadmap and FAQ. The FAQ says the first multiplayer update lets friends join a reserve. The roadmap image places a four-player free hunt with built-in voice in 2027. The same FAQ says that first multiplayer update does not support crossplay. I have one official source for the crossplay line, so I label it as Nacon's FAQ rather than as something a second company confirmed.

Co-op, split screen, crossplay

• Co-op: not a launch mode. Planned as a four-player free hunt in 2027.
• Crossplay: the FAQ says the first multiplayer update ships without it.
• Split screen: not listed on Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox. I describe that as unsupported at launch, not as a tested negative.
• PS5 multiplayer: same answer as PC. The platform exists; the mode does not, yet.
